District Health Performance
· DPT3 coverage stands at 111%.
· Out Patient Department (OPD) utilization is at 95%.
· Deliveries in health units has continued to be a challenge however, compared to the previous years; there is some improvement from 55% (2007/08) to 58% (2008/09).
· Proportion of pregnant mothers receiving IPT2 (Fansidar) in pregnancy is at 52%.
· Proportion of TB cases notified is 31%.
· Latrine coverage is at 58%.
· Immunization is at 121%
· Routine immunization is carried out in 27 static units (health units) with fridges
· Availability of drugs is at 60 – 75%. At health units
